An example of a thesis statement would be..
When the Civil War started in 1861 it changed America from a newly freed country into a developing nation!
As you can see, this sentence is telling you that the essay is going to be about the Civil War in 1861.

For english class
The words are spelled wrong
And punctuation is out of place
But hopefully its good enough
For me to pass
Hey look there!
I just rymed
I hope im.....not....being.....timed?
Haha wow
That was dumb
I guess now
This poem only gets one thumb
Im laughing my head off
Reading this over
But i think now its time
I'll start all over
