For english class
The words are spelled wrong
And punctuation is out of place
But hopefully its good enough
For me to pass
Hey look there!
I just rymed
I hope im…..not….being…..timed?
Haha wow
That was dumb
I guess now
This poem only gets one thumb
Im laughing my head off
Reading this over
But i think now its time
I’ll start all over

The Road Not Taken

Photo

peetasbaking:

There are 4 different types of nouns.

A Common noun which is the name of things in general, such as cat or dog.

A proper noun is the name of a particular person, place or thing, such as Katie or Canada. (All proper nouns start with a capital letter.)

A collective noun is the name given to a group of things, for example a flock of birds or a herd of cows.

An abstract noun is something you can’t see, hear, touch or taste. These can be emotions like happiness or grief or states like peace and quiet.

Verbs:

Their are 3 different types of Verbs.

An Action verb is a word that express action, such as walk or a possession verb, like to have or to own.

A linking verb connects the subject of a sentence to a noun or adjective that renames or describes it. An example of a linking verb is, Eli became a business major, The verb, became links the subject, Eli to its complement, a business major.

Helping verbs are used before action or linking verbs to convey additional information regarding aspects of possibility like can and could or time like has and did. An example of a helping verb is, K.C is (helping verb) going (main verb) to Virgina.

Adjectives:

There are 3 types of adj.

A descriptive adj. adds detail or description to the noun. An example of a descriptive adj. is, “Wow, this is a exciting and fun game!”

A limiting adj. specifies or limit’s the noun, For example, Did Cristine see this (adj.) article (noun) that appeared in the paper today?

A predicate adj. is a special type of adjective that follows a linking verb and modifies (directly refers to) the subject of the sentence. For example, Ray does not seem scared of them. DOES SEEM is a linking verb connecting the subject Ray with its descriptor of equal weight SCARED.
